needed an impact driver to break a screw loose in a vise I was disassembling to refinish. it did the job without me having to heat the part.

These things are stupid strong. Had to hammer the biggest one into my motorcycle upper stem nut because there was literally no other way to get it off without ordering a 3/4 drive extension. Went in, turned with large breaker bar and came right free. Usually with these I’d expect it to break or crush when hammered in but after this use it looked literally like I never even used it.

Not very good. Broke the phillips on first use. May be ok for light duty use, but what good is a 34;light duty34; impact driver?

I have an old KD Tools hand impact driver, the kind you hit with a hammer to loosen frozen screws. It's a great tool, but the shanks on the bits are that odd 5/16ths size and very hard to find. These fit perfectly and appear to be high quality and well made. Haven't failure yet but I've only just got them. I'll update my review if they fail down the road.

Did work for a while but with the heavy duty work i needed it for, the tip did not last. Broke atleast two of the tips. The bigger ones were what i was looking. Would had given a higher rating if it included more flat head tips. Or a kit that has all big flat head tips would been preferable.

Don't use them in an impact driver but they come in real handy in the RV tool kit, use in 1/434; socket set. A nice space saver item!!

I bought these because the bits that came with my impact screwdriver 20-some years ago finally broke on me. I really only use this tool for one job, removing the Phillips screws that hold brake rotors to the hub on my vehicles. The Phillips 3 bit from this set broke on my first attempt to use it. The tip sheared right off inside the screw I was trying to remove. This left me without a 3 again, this was the one bit I actually needed and bought this whole set for. I tried the 2 on the other screw I needed to remove but of course it started twisting the tip of the bit right away so I gave up and just drilled the head off of the screw. Drilling the other screw with the broken tip of a bit in it was a nightmare due to the extra hardness of the metal the bits are made from. These may be ok for light duty use but for anything requiring actual torque such as the job that I use this tool for they are a big let down.

Good quality. Choices in sizes made removing rotor screws very easy. Did not slip even in the chewed up heads.
