As a former teacher and now speech language pathologist this is something I love to get kids working on nouns and pictures to help with expanding vocabulary and naming things in their surroundings.

I currently do speech therapy online with an older person with Broca's aphasia. I've been using these cards with him now in sessions for about 5 months. What I really like about these cards is they're simple. My client is very sharp - just struggles with wordfinding, so it's sometimes difficult to find language resources that aren't so kid-focused that it can feel demeaning. These cards are straight to the point, and use a large, bold font that's easy to read. The front side of the card has a picture and the word, and the back only has the word (in a bigger font). It does get a little repetitive after a while so we only use these cards for about 15 minutes at a time, but my client is always eager to use the cards. I hope this company releases a third edition with some more varied categories.

These cards are great for littles to be able to visually put an object with a word as well as older kids to use for word association. These will be a great addition to our activity bag.

I bought these for my ELL students to have visual supports. They love them, but some of the pictures are outdated.
