Not cut for a guy with wide shoulders and narrower hips. Swimming around the waist and too tight in the shoulders. But it is an attractive jacket. Just did not fit.

Wanted a lite fleece that blocks the wind, repels the rain. No rain yet, but it definitely blocks wind with high collar. Tighter fit so not great for multiple layers.

This Columbia Ascender jacket is a solid choice for mild weather adventures. It's got a good balance of warmth and breathability, and the softshell material is both wind-resistant and stretchy enough for easy movement. The fit is comfortable and not too bulky, and the pockets are well-placed and deep enough for essentials. It's not the lightest jacket out there, but it's a good all-arounder that can handle a range of conditions.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend to use in the fall. I have ended up using it throughout the fall as well.. It keeps me warm and is a nice basic jacket. It matches with pretty much every outfit.

The quality of the jacket is good, and is very comfortable. I got a size up expecting to need a 2nd layer underneath when it gets colder like a hoodie, and it was a good choice. Compared to a normal rain jacket, this is a more breathable and comfortable choice for me.

This is the second time I have bout this coat. The last one someone took. It is super soft and is light weight. It looks very professional and keeps you warm.
