Great tool to be used with your jig saw; steel brush that can be used to clean rusty tools or other things; easy to use; very harsh brush;

This saves a lot of time and effort scrubbing, but it does make a mess of your saw.

You need two kinds of these. This for your reciprocating saw for long tight spaces (like grout or edges) and a round one for your drill (for general cleaning). Hard to find (not a Ace or Home Depot) and available for pickup at Lowes for same price. Its durable carbon steel bristles work well on thick grout, rust, and flaking paint. Very durable but could be larger. If you're looking for a lighter touch, I'd skip the Spyder Nylon Brush for one for your drill. They bend in edges just fine.

Tried it out on my Dewalt 20 volt reciprocating saw, it smacks the heck out of the Guard the entire time you're using it... It will also fling up wires from the brush a LOT. Luckily for me I only needed to use it once for a small project I'm working on that I couldn't get other tools into the tight spot. Unfortunately the only way I could get it to stop smacking the Guard was Jerry rigging some zip ties around the guard to hold it back out of the way. Not sure how it fits on other brands of saw, but definitely not good for Dewalt. Thanks.

definitely think this could be a Godsend if I was trying to get paint off ornamental iron or any other irregular surface that could stand up to a wire brush. the key I learned with this brush is to let the bristles do the work - have has light a touch as possible and a variable speed trigger is also a huge advantage.
