I am a cochlear implant wearer and have to take them off at night meaning I am fully 100 deaf when I sleep. This alarm is so great. The shaker doesn't work under the mattress because its not strong enough but it works great under the pillow. I put mine under the pillow and inside the case so it doesn't go anywhere. It wakes me up every morning. There are options of shaker and sound, and I like to only have the shaker on so I don't wake up anyone else in the house. Definetly buying this for when I go to University and have to move into a shared dorm.

I love how loud and effective this alarm clock is at waking me up. The color-changing dial is a cool feature, but I always mix up the snooze and off buttons. Plus, the instructions for changing the time or setting the alarm are way too complicated. I have to read them every time!

As someone who can sleep through every alarm, this is perfect. There is absolutely no way you could sleep through this monstrosity. The traditional alarm clock is a great alternative to my phone, and unlike my phone cannot accidentally be set on silent or fall off the charger. I like the option to set two different alarms I can toggle on and off, as well as the ability to toggle between having an audible, vibrating, or both alarm types go off. It's perfect for heavy sleepers who may have roommates. I found sticking the vibrating disk under my mattress or zip tying it to my bed frame was most effective to keep half asleep me from unplugging or throwing it away from my bed.
