I got this for my Autistic child who LOVES starwars, especially Darth Vader. They are not fans of the dark either. When it was first plugged in the waxy middle went straight to the top and has stayed that way. The helmet of Vader didn't want to go on right away and my husband struggled to get it on for a while. We just figured it was from the cold. We all ended up, one by one, sick with the flu and now I can't even exchange the broken one now because it's passed the time. I'm frustrated to say the least. My child doesn't understand why they can't get it to work or have it in their room. This is frustrating and annoying.

Fought with getting the bulb in. Then couldn’t get it out because the socket was put in wonky. Had to COMPLETELY disassemble the entire product to straighten the bulb socket. Then reassemble. Would buy it again, but, buyer beware you may have to take it apart to make it correct.

It's basic. After a few hours of being turned on (after 4-5 hours) All the LAVA just sits up on the top and very little lava flows back down. If you have a Star Wars fan that you are looking to get them something, then maybe this is ok. It's not the best Lava lamp out there, and I will more than likely be getting a different one, and this will get shelved.
