first mill had a chipped leading face. the replacement wasn't much better since the spiral leading edge was poorly cut and had battle scars from the grinding process. this defect would leave mill marks, fortunately i only use this mill in a plunge cut operation. ole adage: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! just remember this and you will be cool.

Did exactly what I needed, making 0.13 inch deep counter bores with flat bottoms in some cast iron. No whining.

Not exactly the intended purpose, but I needed to countersink a couple holes on an angle. Only had a drill press with a 1/2 chuck. It did the job and I can complete my project.

Item was listed as 2 flute. As you can clearly see by the photo, this end mill is a 5 flute. This is not a problem for my application but it may be for yours. Otherwise satisfactory for the price point.

Bits are great but make sure you are perpendicular to a flat surface. Carbide does not like irregular surfaces or off angle drilling.

The tool was sharp and held its edge to finish the job. Milled 360 brass for about 24hrs total.
