I really like that this cribbage board has the storage for cards and the pegs. We have another board that does not have this feature and we are always losing the pegs.

It appears to be solid wood. The pegs are heavy, but not magnetic so not sure about their composition but don't feel they'll need to be upgraded. A standard deck of cards fits fine in the space (which has rather flimsy felt), and magnet is strong enough that I'm not too worried about losing the pegs. The recessed piano hinge seems pretty good and it doesn't stick out to catch on clothing when carrying. Some of the holes still had a little flange that needed cleaning up, which was easily fixed. All in all a clean board at a good price.

This cribbage board is great for travel, everything you might need is stored inside the wooden box. The wood is almost as nice as the expensive custom cribbage board I purchased in Aspen, Colorado year ago.

Great travel cribbage board set- comes with everything needed to play a game! Purchased to take on recent cruise, played every day, perfect to take on any vacation! Would definitely recommend to others!

I like how the cards and pegs are stored in the board. It is a bit heavy for airline travel, if you are watching the luggage weight.

Cribbage was invented by one of my however-many-great grandfathers in 1670, and my family has been playing it ever since. My paternal grandmother actually held a 29 about a week after they were married, and the calendar strongly suggests my father was conceived later that evening.This was a welcome-to-the-family gift for my fiance, and though not fancy it's really nice, and so convenient that it immediately became our "travel" board. Very well designed.

The quality and finish of the board are gorgeous. If you grew up on cribbage like I did you probably had a handful of the classic red, blue, and green boards with the plastic pegs that always broke off in the holes. They were the worst. This one has really nice metal pegs that won't break in a stylish gold, black and silver finish.The downside is the magnet that keeps this closed is very small and not very strong so if you're going to take it on the go a rubber band or hair tie works great. The cards it comes with are trash. Don't bother with them and just throw them away. I picked up some plastic dipped black, gold and silver playing cards from Temu for a dollar that compliment this board so much better.This would make a great gift for friends or family that like the game and it's so pretty I'll leave it on my coffee table as an accent piece. Definitely recommend!
