I bought a complete Magnaflow CAT-BACK 3" kit for my GM SUV W/ a 5.3 with headers. I bought this muffler since it was their smallest with a 3" inlet/outlet. I was hoping for a louder tone since this muffler is considerably smaller in length amp; girth. The deep tones can be heard upon initial start-up amp; hard acceleration, such as passing slower traffic. The Magnaflow muffler is a great value when comparing it to the smallest Flowmaster with a 3" inlet/outlet which is NOT available in stainless steel! If this muffler was coupled with a comparable 5.3 that had hi-flow converters or better cylinder heads, you'd get more flow amp; tone. I didn't like that ot wasn't as polished to a shine as the photo depicts. The welds are also an eye sore.

Love the low tone that this muffler gives my Jeep's little V6. I had previously removed the factory resonator and muffler. Placed this where the resonator was and ran 2.5' pipe out the back. Sounds great.

Used this product before.Easy installation.It's just a muffler. Not going to gain any horsepower, but your engine will have no back pressure. Maybe a couple of miles per tank full better fuel economy. Nice DEEP rumble. Not super loud on cold start. Actually this is a decent muffler if you are going for sound

I liked that I got the muffler, was exactly what I ordered. I did not request for the delivery driver to get stuck in my front yard though, but was delivered that too.

I used this for a v6 dodge durango along with removing the stock muffler and stock resonator. You get the v8 type of growl out of a v6. Don't try to use or justify this for any performance gains if you're serious about performance.

Had to do a bit of custom work on this one, very minor pipe bends to maintain the two slots the bumper comes with. As far as sound goes you can't go wrong with Magnaflow great mufflers paired with middle muffler delete makes for amazing frequencies.

I just installed these on my 2010 Camaro V6 with LT Headers and 3 cat back exhaust with an X pipe. This is the 5th muffler set up and it's the perfect smooth, deep tone. No rasp, no drone and no Trumpet sounds. Best option out there for the 3.6l V6.
