I've used many different brands of blade. Broke 3 scraping a small sticker off a window. Kept their edge for a good bit though.

I love this so much I bought another one. It's a tool that I've had for 10 years but it's also a tool I can never find when I actually need it. Bought another one so I can lose it in the garage and hopefully cut down the time searching for it since I'll have two. Seriously though the handle, the fact you can store blades in it and the fact it's an actual quality product is why you should stop searching, cause you found the best one.

Like that the handle opens up and loud she's a hold extra blades in it and it feels nice and sturdy with the steel shank and blade holder

Works to remove inspection stickers from windshields, and have only had one car that the tab to release the blade made it too thick to remove a sticker. Far more convenient to replace blades with the clip style this one provides, and I highly recommend it!

I have a fireplace insert and I bought this to get the soot off the glass. You can do it dry, but I like to use some ceramic glass cleaner with a paper towel first to add a little slickness to the glass, then it's easier to work with. So much easier than a razor blade alone as you get some good leverage and torque with this.
