I miss the good old days when these bits did not have the extra points on the outside but oh well they do what they are meant to do which is cut holes in things but it would be better if the blades were ground flat rather than curved.

Nice kit but I wish the blade keepers held them in the case better Every time I open the case two or more have fallen out

Ive been using these for two and a half years as a hobbyist and home repair person Good bits I like the outer cutting edge so that I get holes without the tear-out These have held up well and are still making holes of various sizes

My old style Irwin Speedbor set was stolen I just used this new style set for the first time I had to run some 122 romex through a sheer wall that had several 6x6 posts within it I didnt have a heavy angle drill and bits on the truck The 916 bit blew through the 6x6 with ease driven by an 18 volt Ryobi drill It wasnt quite long enough to make it through so I put a 1 inch bit in and counterbored the 916 hole about an inch then used an extension to break through These new design flat bore bits are very capable and a vast improvement over the old style ones Nice bit organizer as well Great price performance value
