My AquaRite salt generator was replaced with a complete new unit in 2018. but over the past few weeks it's been acting strange. I was getting "Hi Salt" reading on the display (LED lit up) even with my salt level being spot on (3200ppm). This would cause my salt gen to shut down. After cleaning the salt cell (acid bath) and resetting it seemed to work for a little bit but would again get the hi salt error and shutdown. I suspected this PCB might be at fault and I was right. This board is an easy replacement (make sure to shut off electric power to your unit) and simply pull out the old board and insert the new one while being careful to make sure the 6-8 pins are inserted correctly into the socket on new board.

My chlorine setting was off when I would turn the knob and the number would jump up and down. This part was very easy to install and fixed the problem. I have only been using it for a few days and hoping it will last for several years.

Only after sifting thru the other reviews did I stumble across my same issue! Issue: Digital readout higher than knob setting, out of whack. Would not hold setting. Fix: Replaced with this new part and it is working perfectly! Opted for the name brand because I wanted the OEM part and not take chances with something else.
