I’ve used Eminence speakers in my bass guitar cabinets for almost 20 years now. I love them. I’m driving this one with an Acoustic B600HD which is a 600w head at 4 ohms, and I’m running it fairly close to max volume. That means I am right about at the rated RMS power handling for the speaker. The cone does bottom when I hit the low B, so for me the xmax is a little more shallow than I need. However, this is my own fault for not getting one that was better suited to my needs. The speaker itself sounds fantastic and I expect it to last a long time, just like all of my other Eminence products have.

I loaded the Delta 15LF4 in a samson speaker sub cabinet that had the driver blow out and WOW!! What a difference!! I never got so much clean kick before, I wish the speaker had blown out sooner.

Delta 15LF4 is powerful and clear. I put one in a $50.00 sub-woofer cabinet, hooked up my Fender Rumble and will compare it to a $500.00 bass cabinet.

I purchased this speaker for several reasons: 1) I needed a bass speaker that could with stand at least 500 watts of power that my amp produced. This speaker is rated at 600 watts of RMS power - 1200 watts peak power. 2) It has an aluminum voice coil that can dissipate the heat that the amplifier creates. My Fender Rumble 500 runs in a bridged mode. The original 1534; probably was using a copper voice coil. That made the amp run 'HOT'. The eternal bus fan was running from the beginning. Now - the amp runs cool. If you want a good 4 ohm speaker - this is the one to get!
