I have this one for about 3 years. It suddenly stopped working. However during the time we had it we had no problems with flushing and operation. I have bought replacements before in a different brand and it was constantly flawed and end up buying this one. It just doesn't last long apparently.

The thing works awesome took me 5 minutes to hook up because I already had a touchless toilet from Kohler, Kohler should have figured this out before they put out those touchless toilets because you cannot adjust the flush time or anything that comes with a Kohler toilet thank God somebody else figured it out good for you.

A basement contract we selected to finish our basement added a Kohler touchless toilet model by surprise in 2014. Since that time, we have been in contact with manufacturer to correct a couple of problems regarding the touchless flushing device. As of this year the kit has been phased out of production. Currently rather than spend money for a conventional toilet change out I decided to search for 3rd party offerings for the kit itself. The Techo model fit the need perfectly!! This design had improvements beyond what the Kohler design had to offer. This included a separate waterproof battery holder with a secure snap-on connector to the main electro-mechanical box. It was very easier to install as the original plumbing could be used!!

I bought one of these about 8 years ago. It still works like it did the first day! The price has doubled, but that's not uncommon. It's worth it. Batteries don't need changing very often either.

It used to work fine but now if you just sit on the toilet or stand over the toilet to pee it will flush on its own.

So my Kohler touch less toilet after a few years developed the phantom flush syndrome. I RMA’d the unit 3 times and decided to try something different. This works better than the Kohler touch less replacements did. For longevity I can’t say how long this will be as good as it is now but batteries thus far last longer and the motion detection works much smoother
