I used this as in-ground pool cover. I cut 5 strips of various lengths to cover the unusual configuration of the pool and overlapped the strips. In order that the wind didn't lift them off of the water, we placed 8 ft. poles at various places over the seams widthwise. This is the 3rd year in a row that we have used this method to decrease evaporation and increase water temperature. It works, but is a pain to maintain. The material seems to degrade faster than over the original year.

Perfect! Installed a new liner in an older pool and used Gorilla Guard, protected new liner from contact with old, pitted pool walls and kept pool warmer.
