Grip Tools' green tip 32078 24" bar clamp holds tightly without slipping or damaging your project. Just squeeze the trigger with one hand and steady your work with the other until the nylon fiber filled jaws hold your item securely. Let go of your work and the bar clamp does the rest.
The 32078 bar clamp can quickly be converted to a spreader by unscrewing the right hand jaw from the bar and moving it to the left side of the bar. Pull items apart up to 30" with just a squeeze of the trigger.

You can move the smaller stationary part to the other end of the bar. This converts it from a clamp to a stretcher. My first project with this clamp used the stretching feature. Now I wish all my other clamps could do that
