This pump has been installed now for about 5 months. Puts out way more water than my old pump and stays cleaner. I bought a cheap perforated plastic basket to put under it to keep small stuff out and haven't had any clogging issues at all. I like the construction and design.

I have found the pump very powerful! It will soon be used to power my bog for my koi pond. Right now it powers a filter, biofilter plus a waterfall. Am impressed with the power. However it does use energy!!!!!

Got this pump and was a little concerned about the quick drop off of GPH with head pressure. Works just fine though (my head is about 7'). Almost the same flow output as my Savio WMS3600 and only 1/3 the wattage. Measured the power consumption at 215 watts using my meter which means this pump is saving me almost 10 KWh a day! Rated 4 stars as a warning that people should really do the math and make sure they don't have a high head or this pump may not work for them... I got lucky.

I bought this pump because my old Savio 2050 gph pump went out. I decided to get a stronger (3000-4000 gph) pump under the Savio brand, only to find out that the price was much higher than Pondmaster and the operating cost was much higher. So I did quite a bit of research and decided on this pump. I'm glad I did, because I saved myself at least $150 on the pump, and about $.40 per hour operating. Good price, great pump
