This is a fabulous tool for all RV electrical connections. I use it in conjunction with electrical contact cleaner. The tester allows one person to check all outbound current to the trailer, which allows one to rule out issues on the tow vehicle (or not). I may get a more extensive kit to allow me to clean all light socket connections on the camper as well.

TOTAL waste of money. First, there are NO instructions. Second, the tester lights are upside down. I have a 2015 Silverado 2500 HD, Duramax. In order to see the test lights, you have to lay down on your back to see 7-way tester lights. Have no idea what the alligator spade is.
