These burner covers are just what I needed. I don't think they are to be used over a hot burner, but I didn't expect that. The color is a lovely burnished silver.

The covers are thin so I don't think they will stand up to accidental burner heat but it serves the purpose for which I bought it. My husband loves to cook bacon in a cast iron skillet, leaving me with a heckuva mess to clean on the stove. This saves me the extra work. They are thin - a little thicker than aluminum pie plates, but they will do.

They look the only drawback was they're not as heat resistant as I thought I said a hot pan on it it was fine but then the next time I said I have pan and a different one it burned it
