For the price, this the coolest starter kit ever! I bought for my curious 6 year old and he was able to search on YouTube how to get things going and followed along, I was very impressed! He called it the motherboard! It's fun and keeps his mind interested. Very cool

I gave this 5 star rating, I bought this as a Christmas present for my 2 15 yr old grandkids, according to their mom they have been engrossed since it arrived early January, however they were unable to load the tutorial into their chrome books for some reason that a non geek like me doesn't understand ( I only have grade six)) somehow they got things going and all is well so far

Although I have spent many years in IT related jobs, this is my first foray into the workings of the Arduino. This kit does exactly what I hoped it would, instructs in a wide variety of applications, explains the programming involved, and gives the satisfaction of seeing the demonstrations work. I now feel confident taking this to the next step to look for additional applications for the Arduino board.

I bought this kit for my legally blind friend to experiment with and he loves it !

Very nice set but documentation not very user friendly

The kit is fairly complete for any beginner projects - they have great customer support, so if a part is broken, they will replace it for you. Manual is a bit Chinglish, if you will, but is detailed and fairly instructive. The recent price increase, though, rendered it uncompetitive to some other kits.

I am delightfully satisfied by this product.It has everything they advertise.Clear directions, fully functioning links. written in English that you can actually read and understand, not google translate from chinese.Overall a great product for such a reasonable price.I recommend this.

I lost the AC adapter and they sent me a new one free! I just wanted a link to a compatible one. Wponderful service, all the stuff works great and the kids love playing with it

My 13 year old son has been interested in programming and building circuits for a couple of years. We are in a very rural area, and homeschool, so most of his knowledge has come from youtube. I got this for him so we could learn together and maybe I would be able to understand him amd have an intelligible conversation. I have not watched the instructions yet, but he has already built so many things since Christmas. My only downside is that he needs a better workspace because these tiny things are all over my house now.

Great variety of items in this kit and the components seem to be of good quality for designing neat circuits. I keep going back to this kit to put together small tools to perform various tasks. For example, a small critter was entering the house at night somewhere, so I was able to set up a motion sensor and run an alarm to my room to wake me when the animal was inside. It worked great and reliably to catch the invader. I'm excited to use the other items in this kit as challenges arise!

Everything about this kit is great, and I can tell that I'm going to learn a lot going through the tutorials provided. My one complaint is that the resistors are incredibly hard to read. I tried using the included color code for the resistors in the pdf doc, and I even compared them to the other resistors in the pack and they're near impossible to tell apart. Or at least they are to me, because i'm brand new to the hobby. Short of having a multimeter handy, I don't think i'd be able to sort these out. Now, I am aware that Elegoo included these resistors specifically because they are more accurate, but still, I was hoping to use this as an opportunity to learn how to identify the resistor i'm looking at with the provided chart.Also, I would have preferred there to have been a longer USB cable for the Arduino, but considering just how much they stuffed into the kit, I really can't complain too much.All that being said, the documentation they provide for this kit is priceless. Incredibly well put together and easy to understand. I'm very much looking forward to diving in and learning all about everything in here.

Not something you can just pickup and start learning, so definitely have the time and motivation to do digging on instructions and fun tutorials online.You can be very creative and learn to apply code quickly. Recommend it to middle school through college level learning.

This comes with everything you need to get started. It is well laid out and comes in a very nice container and is well labeled.

My 10 year old son is trying to get into this kind of stuff. We thought this would be a great gift for him. When we opened it it has aDisk to put into a Computer with instructions. Unfortunately my computer is Old and the Software wouldn't work in it. I think they should have another way to Get instructions for kids. We are sending it back.

With a few YouTube videos you will have this thing going in no time. It's been great. My teenage sons are really getting into it and ts our first time with anything like this. The kit is really well put together.
