The inside is scratched and everything sticks to the wok. All the food sticks to the inside of the wok and the wok rusts very fast. I used soft silicone tongs but they still got scratched up. This wok is not carbon steel, they are lying to you

Bought this for a rental property, on the fist use, the finish delaminated and the pot began to rust. The cook has decades of Asian cooking experience, pretty confident it isn’t user error.

I recently purchased a nuwave pic gold and wanted a carbon steel wok to try - it has become my go to pot for stir-fry for one. Yes it will rust if not cared for properly it is carbon steel folks. I grew up using cast iron so not a problem for me-I like it.

Unless you wash n dry it immediately, it will rust. Almost re turned it but decided to give it one more try by wash/dry immediately then oil or. Haven’t gotten back to it yet.
