While a strange coincidence, it appears that Toyota's 4.7 V8 and Dodge/Jeep 4.7 V8 truck engines, while completely different in many ways, seem to share a very similar 90mm idler pulley for the drive belt. In both cases, ther replacement Gates part has a pulley contour that doesn't allow the pulley washer to fit properly. If you attempt to tighten the pulley bolt/washer onto the Gates pulley the outer circumference of the washer will hit the incorrectly designed hub of the pulley. This is no small issue. That washer serves several purposes. It is the only part that aligns the pulley into perfectly centered position during the tightening process and it acts as a protective dust shield to name two.

I’m sure this is a fine pulley but it is not right for the gx470. The inner shape is way too pronounced and the factory bolt and washer that indexes the bearing will not fit in the cupped section.

for a 2006 Ford Taurus, OEM pulley had 158K miles, I hope this one gets me at least 30K. 650miles and working.

this lower idler pully is hard to get to and replace, without taking a lot apart.

People were saying they were using this for the 31170-R70-A01 hydraulic tensioner on the 07 Odyssey but the pulley is larger than the one on the Honda unit, so I didn't even try to put it on. Maybe it'd work but I decided I wasn't going to take the chance, so I bought a genuine Honda tensioner instead. Also, if you're hearing a sqeak, check the crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer. If it's loose, you're going to need a 13810-RJA-003.

Did not fit. Catalog listing for this idler is wrong. Won't fit a 3.0 Ford V6.

My van had a horrible whine that sped up with the engine rpms. It was easy to replace. Remember the washer on the bolt head side and locking washer on the engine side.

Fit great. The space between the washer and pully was off a little but didn’t affect anything and bolted right up. Item did not arrive on time.

It was made in Canada and it's very rare , because lots of auto parts are made in Asian countries and are more expensive as well as doesn't look reliable. This Pulley made in Canada is solid and good quality. Fits perfect on my '03 Acura TL.
