These screwed right in place for me with no effort. These come with the screws too which is a bonus but in most cases probably unnecessary.

4 screws and 30 seconds. It looks just like the original. This is the 3rd set on this cooler (15 years). It isn't used very often so obviously the hinges could be more durable.

The hinge on my 10-year Coleman Cooler broke. This was a perfect replacement. It comes with 2 plastic hinges and 8 replacement screws.

These are a perfect replacement for the plastic hinges on the Coleman cooler that I have. Just remove the 4 screws, take off the old broken hinge and replace with this one. These are not any stronger or more durable than the ones the cooler came with.

Fits' plastic coleman from early 2000's with minor modifications. Label on bottom of cooler shows model 5286B, with 5296 and 5248 printed next to it. I could not find a hinge for those model numbers. Product came in Coleman-brand plastic bag. Two holes did not line up correctly but since this hinge is plastic it was easy to use a round file and enlarge the holes slightly to make the screws work. No complaints about this product since there doesn't seem to be any other hinges out there that are made for the above models.

These are genuine coleman cooler hinges. Fit exactly as the original ones did. Comes with new screws. I can't speak for the longevity of these hinges but they should hold up as long and the first ones.

After about 6 years, one of my hinges finally broke. With the design of these plastic hinges, I was surprised to get 6 years out of them. I'm glad that these are available as it would be a shame to throw out the ice chest because of a simple broken hinge.This hinge is an exact replacement. Just two screws to remove and replace. The ice chest is as good as new.

Had an old Coleman cooler (25 years) and the hinges broke. Husband replaced them and cooler is as good as new.
