This was a gift so I never saw it in person. It looks a bit orange/red in the photos my friend sent. But they were very pleased and it makes for a fun gift for all the Supermen out there. It arrived two days earlier than expected which was a nice surprise.

DO NOT expect to pull this out of the bag and go. Unless you're doing Superman on laundry day. It took 2 days of pressing, re blocking the hem and steaming to get it to a wearable state....for me. It's heavy good quality polyester. It says no ironing but...please. if you're conscious of the material you can..and must iron this. Or take to the cleaners for a pressing. If you're less OCD than me, rip it out the bag and slap it on. I would buy again. For branded mass produced merch it's worth the money.

When one of my co-workers performed a service above and beyond expectations. We all called him a Superman. So I awarded him with this cape. It is made of a high quality material and the “S” is also nicely embroidered applicate.
