Bought this to wear inside a Mascot costume for a Parade on a hot day in August. It kept me cool, and allowed me to stay comfortable for hours (I only used one of the inserts, so did not change out to a new frozen one). My husband is now using it on a construction site for the rest of the summer: it also make a good ice wrap for a sore arm. (Not it's original purpose, but a good use.) I guess I need to buy another one for me! (LOL)

a very comfortable item and works very well if you need the added ability of staying cool in a full mascot costume. sort of pricey but seems to work well and should be even better with the kold vest. i can tell you, full body costumes covered with fur get hot as an oven. keep yourself or your actors kool and grab this when it's on sale.

Since it gets very warm in the costume this product will allow the wearer to stay in the costume for longer periods of time before having to take a rest.

The Kold Kollar came in a timely manner (faster than I thought), so we will be trying it out next weekend under the Bunny suit at the Easter Egg Hunt. There were no instructions included, so I'm not sure if just one ice pack or both packs go in the collar at the same time. If you could buy just 2 cold packs at a time, I would have ordered a spare set with the collar. I cannot afford the $80/7 pack.I'll write more later after we use it.Thanks, Cathy S.

A great way to stay cool in the costume. Works great with the Kold Vest. The ice packs melt quickly, however, so it would be wise to purchase additional inserts to keep frozen for quick change out.
