The Kelly Kettle Base Camp stainless steel camp kettle boils approximately 54 oz of water at a time - that's nine 6 oz. mugs of water for camp coffee, tea or hot cocoa. The Kettle will bring water to a boil within a matter of minutes. Suitable for use at your 'base camp', car camping, scout camps, picnics, hunting, outfitters outposts. The kettles are ideal for emergency preparedness kits, humanitarian aid stations, or anyone working in the forests or the great outdoors.
Fire base and drawstring carrying bag are included with each Kelly Kettle. The durable stainless steel fire base inverts up into the bottom of the kettle to make the unit as compact as possible for transport and storage. Histotically, the fire-bases were Aluminum which softened, warped and burned out quickly. All our kettles now come with upgraded stainless steel fire-bases as standard.
The Green Whistle will sound a nice loud whistle to let you know when the water has boiled. Older Kelly Kettles may have an Orange Rubber or Cork Stopper. These MUST ALWAYS be removed before using the kettle. The Kettle must never be boiled with these older stoppers in the spout, but the new camping kettle with whistle can be left in while the water is boiling.

I went camping and used this and it boiled my water really well and i was able to use it for oatmeal as well.

This is a great set!!! I've had one for at least 15 years using it over campfires. It's small and durable. Water boils fast with the lid on. Bought one for each of my kids to put in a small camping/bugout backpack, along with a folding Sterno Stove for cooking and boiling water. Bought another to keep in my car. For $15, it's worth having a few. I bought one to keep in a tote of survival food I purchased from Patriot, so there was a means of boiling water for the food , kept together. I highly recommend this set!

Used it last weekend to heat some porknbeans on the campfire to go with our brats. Served its purpose. Wish it was a smidge taller to pack a couple compact spoonforks and can opener in there.
