I've had this sub about seven years and finally getting around to reviewing it now that I'm thinking of a replacement or running a second one.First the good, the 24 Hz is no joke, it reaches pretty low and I've tested audio clips and 24 Hz was reproduced just fine. Explosions and the like will rattle your walls, I keep my sub gain knob about halfway up. In 2017 I did have the plate amp blow (loud pop then just fuzz), BIC sent me a new one pretty quick via email contact, no issues since.The bad, with music the sub can struggle a little bit on fast bass tracks, especially if the gain is turned too high. Metallica's Death Magnetic blu-ray can show some definite weakness on a few tracks. (On the flip side, slow bass tracks like you find with blues rock such as Bonamassa's Live at the Greek Theatre sound amazing, just not thrash metal).I'm currently struggling with the decision to run a second one of these subs or just upgrade to an SVS or Monolith.

I have owned this Bic-America H100ll for over 10 years and it still works perfectly. The amp that is build in can run 100 Watt constant with peaks up to 450 watts. I find that this worked very well for booth my Home Theater and my music needs are done well. I do not hear any cone noise or any clipping. It is made in Ohio and it is a very well designed and built subwoofer. I would buy it again for sure. Great product and American made. What's not to lie about that combo.

After dialing in the tone on the sub and setting receiver levels, it's picks up the low end for movies and music. There's a surround setting on the back and it works. No need for a booster, it's good on its own. I'd definitely by more BIC America product.

I love this subwoofer and for the price its all you need. It pounds it picks up bass other speakers cannot it sounds great. I want 2 but i dont got room lol.
