The ball arrived flattened so you may have to have it inflated for a day before you use it so any folds disappear. grip felt good except for the large X6000 logo which was unusually slick, but it go away slowly as you use it (outdoors in my case). I noticed the ball looses pressure over days so as long as you pump it up before you play it will be fine. The ball is a good value because of the low cost with the expectation of needing to pump it every time you want to use it. (maybe mine is an exception with the slow leak).

Reminds me of the Mac X10L we used to use in HS. Too bad Macgregor has fallen out of favor in hoops. We used Wilson Jets, then Spauldings when I got to college. The Jets always seemed big and light, and seemed to float off the hand. The Spaulding was a great shooters ball, heavy and dense, and I’m not surprised the NBA uses it. I always thought the Mac was a nice it between, where it was lively enough for good ball work and passing, but you could still go on a shooters tear and drain 7 or 8 from the perimeter. This ball rotates nicely, and is easy to grip. Size and weight seem spot on. I can’t attest to its longevity yet
