Original design had the water fill plug at the very top (underneath the pad). This design has the fill plug at the basewhich means there's a lot less water that can go insidewhich means it slides across the ground morewhich meansyou get it!

Quality is ver well very sturdy my 16 year old likes it and it adjust to my 9nyear old hight as well

Gift for my son and he loves it

I had been looking for a punching bag for our basement for several months. My focus was primarily on a heavy bag that I could hang from the unfinished ceiling. This bag showed up on sale at a local retailer and after reading reviews I went for it.My box was in good shape when I picked it up and the base was not deformed in any way. Some reviewers mention the movement of the item when they strike it and I totally agree. The manufacturer should not even mention water as an option for filling the base at 8lb/gallon. Water is never going to be adequate for this item. I had sand available and put 90 pounds in it and there is almost no movement when my kids strike it. I will add another 45 bag because I think that will strike a perfect balance of being able to move it when I want to but not having it move too much when I don't. There is plenty of room in the base for enough sand to keep this from moving...just don't think you are going to use this with water.The only other thing worth noting is that you will need some kind of gloves or hand protection if you are going to do workouts on this. It just isn't soft enough to strike repeatedly without damaging your skin. I put a sweatshirt over the unit thinking it would reduce the damage to our hands but it just didn't do enough. Pick up some gloves when you order this item and have sand available when it arrives and you will be ready to go immediately.My kids do Jiu Jitsu workouts and spend a few minutes per class on foot movement and some light punching. I expect this to enhance their workouts at home and be an enjoyable way for them to take out a little frustration from what life throws at them. I am happy with this purchase and you will be too as long as you don't try to fill the base with water. It also makes a lot less noise than hanging a bag from my rafters would have made, so I am happy with that as well.

Nice product just takes a lot of water to weight it down in order to make it stay in one place

I train on this three days a week and find it useful.My only complaint is that filling it with just water is not sufficient. I end up punching it all around the back yard.I assume the solution is to fill it with sand and water but then it's likely never moving ever again.
