Having 2 sizing charts was confusing so I ended up ordering the wrong size. The ribbon isn't a good idea because it loosens.

We purchased two corsets by this maker, and the sizing is inconsistent. The first fit perfectly, this ran distinctly small. Not a bad corset, especially for the price, but order a size up!

I actually returned this item, but only because I didn't like the tie strings.They were at the bottom, and didn't feel like they were very strong. They were more satiny and slippery. This is okay though if you just want a corset for the bedroom or under a cute blouse. Definitely not a training corset, but overall, was pretty and acceptable for the price.

I really liked this product. It fits a little smaller, so if you're not looking to actually use it to totally suck you in then I would buy it a size bigger. If you're looking for the real deal, I would probably look somewhere else. I say this only because when buttoning it up, the bone would bend making it almost impossible to button it unless I had some assistance. But, in general I liked this product and would definitely recommend it for costumes or the like.

So, firstly this corset is very beautiful and comfortable. It doesn't have steel bones though, they're some sort of pvc plastic rods. I was able to comfortably finish the corset in a matter of days but because of the give of the rods I doubt any of the waist reduction will be permanent even with diet and exercise. This would be an excellent corset for fun or to wear in front of a nice top but not for waist training.
