Winsome 94313 Milan 6pc Cabinet/Shelf and Baskets; Shelf, One Basket, 4 Small Baskets; 3 cartons

Just moved into a new house and needed something that looked nice to store things in like soaps candles and anything else my wife could put in the baskets........ I had ordered 2 cabinets and was glad I did. They look Great and have taken care of the storage needs.......

I think it's very nice. My son put together in less than an hour. I wish the baskets were a little higher to help hide the items inside but overall, I think this is an inexpensive and stylish item.Many complained it looked cheap- I didnt think so. I believe it's given my bedroom a nice look.

This is a nice little shelf if you need a bit of extra storage space. First off, this is definitely a "discount" furniture item. It looks nice & isn't something you'll want to hide, but it is relatively cheaply made. Of course, for under $200 it is exactly what I was expecting, so just be aware of what quality you should expect before buying. If you want nice solid wood that will last, go to a furniture store & be prepared to spend $1000 or more. This is much more along the lines of a cheaper IKEA flat-pack item which will last if you don't abuse it, but is by no means a solid piece of furniture.Assembly was a bit of a hassle (as others have noted), especially the back pieces. I attempted to do this as a 1-man job and was ultimately successful, but having a second person around to hold things stable while you screw all the pieces together is definitely recommended. Other than those back pieces, most of the parts went together easily & it hasn't shown any signs of instability.The wicker baskets look nice, but I didn't find them very useful when used with the shelf. Using them cuts down on the total storage space available on the shelves (except for the large one shown on the bottom in the picture, which we still use), and they are kind of scratchy which could leave marks in the wood & scratch off the finish. They do, however, make excellent storage bins, so they now sit in a closet to hold things that were previously scattered on the floor.Lastly, this has the benefit of being part of a cheap collection, so if you do like it & you want to match new furniture purchases to it, there are several other items that would complement it (most of them linked from the product page).

Served the purpose I needed! Wished baskets were a bit more sturdy. Not difficult to put together. Hope it holds up long term.

It's not the most spectacular piece of furniture you ever saw, but it is clean, simple, assembles easily, and easily passes for a more expensive piece of furniture. One nit...the baskets it comes with are wicker and can easily scratch the wood itself. We switched them out for some cloth cubes we bough at target and it is very functional now.
