This wand was loud and my kid loved it. However, after a few minutes the sounds got old. Little kids 6 and under would like it. My 9 year was bored after 5 minutes because of the sound. But he really liked the light at the end.

This wand is a little bulky. It would be great for smaller kids. My son is 6 and he liked it but I wished it would have been a little slimmer so it would be more realistic. Still like it though, and it will be fun for him even after halloween.

this wand is fun but like most reviews, it does not have an on and off button. It is very sensitive to movement so in order not to have it on, i have to leave it stationary in one location. Wish it had an on/off button though.

so my 7 y/o really loves his new wand, but you can look at it and it sounds off. very sensitive and cannot be shut off unless the battery is taken out of the compartment. wish it had on/off button, but for the $, a good starter wand.

Cute little prop but there is no off switch. It just keeps "zapping" from any movement, like the car moving on the way to grandmas or the wind or breathin. Otherwise very fun.

I would recommend the wand but it would be five stars if it had an on/off button. Othewise the sound can get annoying after a while since it is motion activated. The light and sounds make this a great costume prop.

My son loves this wand, but I wish it had an on/off switch. One cannot carry it without it making noise. I'm glad that we ordered the soundless one too.

I ordered this for my son along with the robe, tie, and glasses. He is going to be Harry Potter for Halloween. He tried everything on as soon as it arrived and didn't want to take it off. He can't wait to use it again! I know it will get plenty of use long after Halloween which makes the price great.

My son really enjoys the wand however once I put the batteries in the cover wouldn't close properly so I had to take pliers to cut some plastic off of it for a better fit. We were both a little disappointed in the sounds because in the movies the sounds that come from Harry's wand are considerably quieter but all in all, for the price, its a good Halloween piece for kids.

My son really had fun with this wand! It does look a bit cheap...but lights up and makes fun sounds! I'm glad I got it...it was fairly inexpensive.

My 2 year old son received this for Christmas. This was one of his FAVORITE gifts. The lights and sounds are really fun and the price is great. He has gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it. He did, unfortunately, slam it onto the carpet one day so now we have to watch that it doesn't separate at the seam, however, it seems to easily snap back into place when this occurs.

My daughter received one of these before Halloween for her 9th birthday. She was Hermione for Halloween and took this with her trick or treating. That one broke in November. The mechanism that interpreted movement and activated the sound and lights broke. I opened it up and could not repair it.Found out later that the kids were playing at a family Halloween gathering and someone decided to use the wand for a pool cue. That might be why it broke.So I gutted it and she had been playing with it as just a silent wand. Checked in here and saw it at a really good sale price and took the chance to buy it and also the Hermione wand that is just a silent wand.

My son wanted to be Harry Potter for Halloween, this is a must have! I looked everywhere for a Wand, which can be quite expensive. I wasn't sure if he would be impressed with this or not. It arrived, and he hasn't put it down yet! For the purchase price, I was very impressed.
