This is really made to help with car seats that have no back support - it's probably just fine for that. I use this in a lift chair/recliner due to a recent back surgery and while it is pretty good for my use, the positioning and support for the very low back is not as good as I need - probably more an issue with my recliner and positioning than with the product itself.

This back support works well, once you get it adjusted; EVERY TIME YOU DRIVE! It slides to the sides and up and down so once you get it where you need it, it works very well. The moveable support piece is awesome as you can use it for your lower back, shoulders, neck, head, or anywhere you feel you need support, each time you drive. It is simple to move. I love the wide width but it does get in the way of buckling the seat belt sometimes. Once you get it all adjusted, which doesn't take but about 30 seconds, it is fabulous. I use it with a high support seat cushion and driving is very comfortable. I am a person who sits straight driving so this has made it so that I can concentrate 100 on my driving and not on my awkward positioning in the seat. I would definitely recommend if you are wanting a full back support. The others I tried were short and did not meet my needs. As long as you give yourself the small amount of time needed to get comfortable with the back support BEFORE you drive, you will be very happy with this product!

I found this product at a thrift store and quickly recognized its superior seating posture in my car. Since then, others have taken photos of the tag on the seat in order to buy one for themselves. I ordered another one from the company and really wanted the smaller size, but the full sized one is still superior to anything else I have found.

I got this backrest after I found the back cushion that came with my new wheelchair was flat hard. My new chair tilts back, so that I don't have get in bed or in my recliner to get my feet up, but the included cushion was uncomfortable. This back support is perfect sitting up or laying all the way back. It even has a detachable lumber pillow which I have gotten postponed perfectly.A great buy.
