National Police Week
In order to help promote National Police Week, Opentip offers a selection of law enforcement promotional items. Each year, the week that contains May 15th is officially designated as National Police Week. President John F. Kennedy first set this day aside in 1962 as a somber time to honor peace officers who were killed in the line of duty. Across the country, police precincts remember their fallen comrades and many convene in Washington D.C. for a week of memorial services and guest speakers.
