It's okay. Certainly does the job. Use some of the green polishing compound for a bit better results. However, I'd honestly recommend using a real leather strap or something better than this.

Make sure you get the sapphire stone too, arrived when expected and as advertised, doesn't come with guide rod

It's okay, but I wouldn't buy it again. First off, trying to use it the same way you use conventional Lansky hones is very time consuming and not very effective. If you make the mistake of pushing it back toward the edge you are sharpening it will cut the leather with ease. I found that if you are sharpening a blade to a 25 degree angle and stay at that angle with strop it has virtually no effect. If you use the guided and rod I found that going to 30 degrees helped. But what really works is to simply removed the guide rod, flip this over on it's back, charge it with jeweler's rouge and strop manually. If I had it to do over again, I would not buy it. I would (and will) make a leather strop on a wooden base so I won't have the limited size of this strop and a more stable platform.

Fits on Lansky rod, feels like good leather, leaves a nice finish. Price is a bit high for what you get.

If you have a lansky system and not the strop.. Your blade is not complete. Get one.

I really like this strop. It is the perfect addition to my Lansky Diamond Deluxe Set. I get amazing results. I sharpen from coarse (or extra coarse if I want a angle other than factory), after that I use the medium, fine diamond stones, then I use the Ultra Fine ceramic stone, Super Sapphire stone, and finish with this strop. I get a perfect, razor sharp mirrored edge. As you can see in the first picture of my Benchmade Griptilian before (top) and after (bottom) it works very well. I highly recommend it.
