Box was pretty crushed up on the sides, could have lost battery pack, but didn't. Shelf life of Rayovac Batteries are good, will evaluate when in use, so far so good! Joe Doria

So far, so good. These batteries were recommended by my audiologist and seem to work as well as the samples she gave me.

Mercury free is the way to go. Still the Zinc is a toxic metal and must be disposed of properly (hopefully at a battery and light recycling place).
