For an in-depth study I like this course and to teach it at my own pace, If one had to teach it in an 8 week course or 16 week course with only a couple days week, this would not be enough time to do this course justice, The style of teaching this course accurate and a deep study into this Language, If your only interested in learning vocabulary this is not the book for you. If your interested in the Language, its the Perfect one. (of course there are many usages today that can be different you learn to adapt and cross those bridges) after all it is from the 1990's you have to understand your learning a Language, not just signs to say English, for a lack of words I would say 34;English verbiage34; You are crossing over into another world. I would love to have the Video's to go with the course but have not found them available, I would pay the cost to get them if I knew where to find them.

Good comprehensive resource for ASL grammar. This book is written in a way that students will understand. It is a little dated but the information in it is solid.
