Tachikara makes great volleyballs. The first night we brought the ball to our league play the other team chose it out of all the possible options.

I have played competitive volleyball for decades. This Tachikara Gold volleyball has been the tops for a very long time. However, the last two I've bought have been a real disappointment. Before I even used each ball, I noticed corners of the leather not glued down well and starting to peel back. I tried reglue these spots, but the balls, although usable are now flawed. That's too much money for a mediocre quality item! Other people, with whom I play volleyball, have bought the same ball and had the same problem. What's happening Tachikara?

Great ball. Great feel, weight, softness for great passing, setting, and hitting. Easy touch. The people I play with prefer the color on the ball as it is easier to see then an all white ball. Plus with the color balls you can easily see the spin on the ball going through the air.
