I purchased serveral of these for organizing and storing bags of soft plastic baits in my boat. They are PERFECT for this - extremely durable, a solid zipper closure, and perfectly sized for holding10-20 standard sized bags of soft plastic baits.

After previously storing these types of baits in plastic 3700 style boxes out of their original packaging, I noticed that my baits often picked up “off” smells and would frequently become deformed. This also takes up a ton of room! So I switched to storing them in their original packaging. However, with the variety of baits we use for tournament bass fishing, I needed something to store the individual bags to avoid everything becoming a mess. Though gallon ziplock bags work okay, they tear easily and the zipping mechanism is easily broken.

Enter these vinyl bags - they’re extremely durable (no tears!), and have a real zipper! I put different “categories” of baits in each bag. They take a permanent marker very well for labeling. For example, I have one for craw and creature baits, one for soft plastic swimbaits, one for drop shot baits, one for tubes, and so on. In this way I can securely store all of my soft plastics in their original packaging, yet can still very quickly find what I need to get back to fishing instead of wasting time fumbling through compartments to get what I’m looking for.
