Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He does a lot of crafty things that require straight lines and he loves it. He's been using it for his latest project.

I use T-squares to draw layout lines making furniture. This square is....square; I noticed no deviation from 90 degrees between the head and the blade. The blade is rigid enough to make straight lines across its length. I would buy this again and enjoy using it.

Great for getting a straight cut on wallpaper. I just hope the plastic T end does not come loose. Looks to be tight but only time will tell.

(This is fifth in a series of reviews describing products used for the making of PHOTO STATUETTES. To start at the beginning please click "See all my reviews" and go to "MAKE YOUR OWN STATUETTES" [Review #1]).A T-square has two components: There's the long shaft called the "blade" and the short shaft called the "stock". The stock, in this case, is the blue plastic piece which is 14" wide, offering excellent stability.Today we'll be using our Fairgate T-square to demarcate sections on black half-inch foam board. Because we'll be working with 8.5 x 11-inch photos we are going to section off 9.5 x 12-inch blocks of board, leaving us leeway for mounting and cutting.Divide your board into as many 9.5 x 12's as possible. You'll need a white pencil. Here are some good ones: Cont Paris 2 Count Pastel Pencils, White, Cretacolor Pastel Pencils Individual No. 101 - Permanent White, Cretacolor White Chalk Pencil (Soft).NEXT: Cutting foam board into usable sections.

Recently bought this T-Square for my projects. I draft my construction plans so a T-Square is a must for me.Everything about this item is great the only thing that i don't like(i recon that it was my choice) was the size of the T-Square. Its very long making it move a little towards the end of the ruler. This is due to the length of the T-Square. Other than this issue, its a great item.

This T-square is prefect in any woodshop, especially for marking cut lines on plywood on long cuts. Use it with a square tool or triangle and you can mark 90 degree perpendicular lines. This is somewhat similar to what I used when I was studying architecture is college.

I'm an Interior Design major and need a t-square for a studio I'm taking this year. Imagine my surprise to find one this size for cheaper than my school's store was selling it as well as a art supply store with a discount for college students. I'm happy with it's weight as it is temporarily replacing a parallel bar until I can afford one and that it comes in a pretty light blue color (for the part that is plastic). I feel like it will hold up and last me a good while and am therefore satisfied.I also got it three days before the estimated arrival date.
