Stinks like fish, so you know it's real. :^)I've had this model b4 and this new 1 is as good, maybe a little better. Handel seems same as old one (diameter, feel, weight). I'm happy with it.Wish offered option of getting cover in a packaged deal, but that only suggestion.

We have a ping pong table at work for breaks and everyone started buying cheap paddles from Dicks (some of them cost more than this one). So i did some research and got this one and its way above and beyond anything you can buy in a sports store. The wood is heavy compared to other paddles but not to a point it causes any issue but the rubber is super sticky to the touch and provides lots of feel of the ball. The notes say it comes with G888 on the black and hurricane 3 on the red, buy mine came with g888 on the red and huricain 2 on the black. I don't mind as I wouldn't be able to tell the difference and from research hurricane 2 vs 3 is just preference with some preferring 2 over 3. I use the G888 more on the backhand side so it puts less unintentional spin on it, and I use the Hurricane 2 on my forehand so I can try to get more spin on the ball. The only downside to the ruber being so good is that it will get dust and fibers stuck to it and require regular cleaning, you probably will also want to get a case or something to put it in... It does also smell very strongly like fish, the smell is from the wood. It has started to subside some, it used to smell up the whole area around it but now you have to smell the wood to smell it, i don't think it will ever fully go away. We all made some jokes about it when I first got it but now it doesn't matter, it more than makes up for this with its performance.Absolutely recommend, 10/10

This was my go to paddle for a while, a bit fast for a beginner racket especially in our small pong room but it definitely does the trick.

Overall I love this paddle, it has a heavy solid feel to it and the rubber is very sticky. It may take a little getting use to it. Only reason why it didn't get a 5 star is the fishy smell.

Let me start off by saying this is a great paddle. Then let me start off by saying it doesnt matter how well the paddle preforms, you will most likely not have any friends or family left to play ping pong by the time you played a few games. Is this a fishing rod or a ping pong paddle?! More importantly what the hell is fish glue?! Do they not have Elmer's in Asia? I don't know how a glue made from an animal could be cheaper, buy they could have just used wet flour in between the rubber and that might have been better. This thing smells like it was dipped in a dead fish and they used the organs inside to create some sort of dead fish flesh paddle from hell.Regardless, paddle works great - no additional complaints.

I started to play table tennis when I was 5. I played in a very serious level in a team, I also did some coaching almost 25 years ago. I have not been played or trained for 15+ years in a serious level. My daughter started to play serious tennis, and I wanted to teach her table tennis too to help her tennis (some of you guys will not agree with me on this. Just check out Fred Perry). I ordered this one and another one for my daughter just to start before investing in another good racket.Honestly, I was not impressed with the quality (value). As some others already mentioned, rubbers are sticky but you do not feel it when you spin. If you ever played in a serious level and just want something even for recreational purposes, this racket will not help you. For others who do not have much expectation, this racket will be a good option.
