This hat is super cute and appears to be well made. I guess time will tell. It has an adjustable wire that runs through the edge of the brim which makes the hat easily shaped. Only complaint is that it runs small. I bought it for my 3 year old and it only fits on his head if I put it tilted back a good bit. Not sure how effective it will be at blocking sun at that angle. Then again, maybe my son just has a big head. At the largest point his head measures 21".
