Honestly, in real life it just looks like a giant light bulb. Not surprised the price on this has dropped 30% since I purchased it. Might be OK with a dimmer switch and vintage lightbulbs.

I have 3 of these, 2 from another site and they are identical from the same vendor. I love the look of this light in my morning room area. They were installed right before our move in and beetles were caught in the interior. There are ventilation holes that they can enter on top. Be aware before purchase of this feature. Dust also settles in on the interior of the fixture due to these holes. They are necessary to dissipate heat. We have tried 2 different types of bulbs to find the look that we prefer. It does have an effect on the shadow from the light. All considered, I would buy these again. They are notable when guests enter the area and they give a wow factor.

These are beautiful and quality and unique. I bought two for our dining area. They look stunning. I used Edison bulbs for a more vintage look and have them on a dimmer switch.
