Handy little pen. Unfortunately, as some other reviewers have noted, it arrived dented (on the round end of the body, in this case). Not really worth returning it. Otherwise, pen is advertised.

Nothing bad to say - I’m so happy it’s the same as the previous ones from Fisher.
I plan on staying with this pen whenever I need one dependable for any angle.

I love my space pens. 4 stars instead of 5 due to how quickly the brass tarnished.

It's a classic pen for a reason! It does exactly what they claim, it'll write anywhere, anytime! The only trade off for the ability to write is that the ink is kind of...thick? The ink will occasionally come out in little globs that may smear.

Also, I've been carrying this pen for 4 months now and, Wow! That patina REALLY develops and matures quickly. I've only had the pen for 4 months and it looks like it's 50 years old. I put it next to my Midori Brass Pen that I carried for roughly the same amount of time before trying out the space pen. My only complaint is that the patina, obviously, doesn't wear evenly. So definitely keep this all in mind when purchasing! If you want something that will stay pristine, don't buy this pen!

I've carried (and lost) several of the matte black Fisher Bullet Space Pens, but I wanted something that would be both easier to find (i.e., brighter color), and which would age well. I ordered the raw brass version of the pen, and I've had it for several years. I love the patina that it has acquired, giving it a "vintage" look. The only thing I don't like about this pen is that there is no texture whatsoever on the grip section. To be fair, the matte black versions don't have any knurling either, but the black finish on those pens is textured enough to provide a good grip. This pen has neither a textured finish nor the spiral knurlings that the chrome Space Pens have, meaning that if your hands are anything but very dry, it will be difficult to get a good grip on this pen.
