For what it is, it's a great product. Of course, it's probably not quite as conveniently accurate as a scale where the reference edge meets the paper when it's lying flat on it; you have to tip it about 15 or 20 degrees to get that to happen. But, it's definitely more convenient for carrying and storage than a triangular rule and of course 4 scales are better than 1, especially when, as usual for an engineer scale, they are in decimal inches rather than the usual 34;fractional34; of 1/2, 1/4, 1/16th etc. You don't get metric, but what do you want? Nicely made, etc. If you often need decimal (10, 30, 40, 50 divisions per inch) and want something convenient, this is what you want.
