I have always had a deer problem. I tried various sprays. They have worked for a while but wore off earlier than the manufacturer projected. And the smell of most of them was absolutely terrible (my wife told me to add that observation). The netting from Easy Gardener can hardly be seen and keeps the critters from munching. It is truly a wonderful product. Friends have observed our flowers and Hosta plants and comment on how they are thriving and surviving in our area. When I show them the netting they are off to buy their own.

This met our needs to protect our garden from deer. It was easy to put up and works very well.

I have wrapped my small container garden in this netting to keep out the squirrels and rabbits. I don't know if it strong enough to discourage deer. I live in the suburbs and our garden pests are smaller but very persistent. Last year I did not get a single tomato. THe wildlife got them all. I seem to have outwitted them this year.

I was finding many partially eaten berries in my strawberry bed. My fellow gardeners out there understand my frustration. After putting down this netting and ensuring the edges were weighed down it is no longer a problem. The netting seems durable enough to me. It definitely does stick to everything so I imagine trying to protect something like a tree would be incredibly difficult unless you used it as a fence. It doesn't seem strong enough for that use. For strawberry beds or things like that though I can tell you it works great.

It worked to cover up my veggies to keep the deer from eating them, but since it was really long, I had to cut it in 1/2.Word of warning - it snags really easily, so it needs to be unfolded on pavement or some other smooth surface. The1st one that I opened, I did out in the garden & had dirt clogs & leaves tangled up it the netting. It works, but it is noteasy to work with.

We live in the country and have 7-8 deer that visit our yard on a regular basis. We put this netting up around our garden to keep the deer out, and has worked very well at doing so. In previous years they would enter and eat much of the garden. Our neighbor had used this netting last year with very good results, so we tried it this year. Since we already had rabbit fencing (about 3 feet high) already installed, we installed the deer netting 8 feet high and secured the bottom to the rabbit fencing a foot or so above the ground. The netting was relatively easy to install, but would recommend two people doing the job, although one person could do it. Recommend unrolling it post by post (one person holding the roll while the other installs it) rather than unrolling a lot at first to keep it from tangling. We used some of the leftover netting (started with 200 feet) to protect some shrubs and roses. The deer had eaten about 4 feet of the bottom parts of some of our arborvitae, so we wrapped the bottom parts with the netting and the deer have stopped bothering them and new growth is already taking place. Would highly recommend this netting.
