Install was easy. The white grill covers blends into the white walls and is hardly noticeable. Installed the fan unit (intake) high on a wall inside a server closet - approx. 15 sq. ft. Installed the diffuser (exhaust) on the opposite side of the wall down low. Controlling the fan with a Z-wave switch controlled by Veralite. I also installed a Z-wave temperature sensor inside the server closet. Setup two scenes in Veralite - turn on the fan at 85 degrees and turn off the fan at 82 degrees. The fan does a great job of exhausting the hot air and drawing in air conditioned air. The reason I knocked off a star is the sound level. The fan isn't as quite as I'd like. Fortunately, most of the noise is contained within the closet. But you can definitely here a motor hum when it's running. The fan is running about 8 hours a day. On for an hour, Off for two hours. At this rate, I calculated it's going to use about $7/year in electricity to keep my server closet cool.

Purchase fan unit to distribute warmer air from the wood stove living area to the adjacent room. Works well. Positioned fan near ceiling in wood stove room and the output vent in the adjacent room towards the floor. Fan does a good job pushing the warm air down to the vent register in adjacent room. Fan is fairly quite. Much better than the door frame fans that are noisy and ugly. Nice to flip the switch and it’s on. Easy install.

Just the trick for me. We have a 10x10 office that used to have no door. Once we added a door the air circulation was bad. This allows the door to be closed and comfort retained. It's very quiet and there is very little acoustic noise transfer through the system. This is an equalization fan, not a system air mover.

Fan is great and works just like advertised. It actually helps keep an adjoining upstairs room warmer. It is also very quiet... it can be heard but noise is soft, and much like 34;white noise34; that disappears when the tv is on.
