This is a great product for measuring and quantifying meditation experience. A good value for someone trying to master meditation techniques. One frustration that I have with this product is that it is very sensitive to connection with the skin. Failing multiple times and pausing in the middle due to poor connection. With slightly better engineering, this could turn into a very valuable product. Price seems to be on the higher side for the current experience it provides.

Sensitive and sometimes a bit 'wonky'.Well made for being what it is. The forehead contacts are metal strips that do pick up signals.Amazing technology when you can see how you were reacting to influences. This shows waves signals especially when using it with MindMonitor app.(Very 'nerdy')Good product to use for study of oneself.

I was soooo frustrated with this thing at first. How was I supposed to meditate when it kept distracting me?!?! Disconnected beep disconnected boop.But Ive been using this off and on for a few years now and my ADHD and PTSD brain FINALLY realized something. It disconnects when IVE disconnected, as in gone into a mind tunnel of, usually anger. And I have a theory. Now, I am No scientist and with PTSD and adhd, anyone could easily argue the confirmation bias ; umm, so youre saying, every time it disconnects you realize you were distracted? Ooohhhh Kay. No offense but, youre ALWAYS distracted, though.No! Its different! I hate the disconnecting so much (and remember my part about too much anger. I HATE the anger ;) so Ill do what I have to do that I avoid being annoyed. And thats enough to keep me focused. And? I gotta say, no disconnecting.Again, Im no scientist but Im guessing the reading is looking for the vain brain waves and when they arent there, it thinks its disconnected. Or maybe its LITERALLY been telling me IVE disconnected this whole time and was too dumb to get it.Any way. If youre having trouble with the device staying connected, try setting if you notice that pattern for you. Im in level 24 and Im kind of a big deal, so you really should be impressed ;)Kk good luck and happy meditating!! Yes this band IS one hundred percent worth it and while who knows if its all accurate or partially inaccurate, it gets me meditating AND noticing when Im angry AND getting me to stop. Aint that what youre trying to purchase here? Im super into data, but even I know I paid for the healthy brain not to sell my brain waves to NASA.

I tried the Muse 2, but really wanted to to have the Muse S for the sleep application. If you don't desire the Sleep functionality, this is a great device.I love the Muse devices, and I like the fit and form factor of the Muse 2 better than the S. Also, the Muse 2 seemed to be less problematic with reading my EEG signals than the headband of the Muse S, which is a soft fabric band with soft contact surfaces for using when sleeping.

This is probably the best thing I ever purchased. I can meditate for hours. It's extremely accurate. With the scores it makes meditation a lot more fun and interesting. I highly recommend this product. I never seen anything like it. I use it 2 times every day.

I've had the Muse S for over a year and it got me started in meditating. Being analytical I like seeing progress in the app and the streaks motivate me to meditate daily. I did have one issue with the band and after some back and forth with customer support they fixed it up for me!
