Exactly what I wanted and needed, they could have come with actually boot laces but very happy still. I will be ordering another pair soon.

I have had these boots in the past and was quite happy to see they are still made. For the price they are awesome. They are hardy and durable. It's hard to find shoes/boots that don't fall apart. They are definitely quite weighty but I kind of like that. They are big and they have a presence for sure. Lots of complaints of others in regards to comfort - which I understand. They have some seems and the like on the inside, but I just throw a pair of insoles in and a pair of thick socks and call it a day.

These boots on their own look great, but are horribly uncomfortable to wear for hours at a time. I would reccomend getting an insole if you plan to use these as work boots.

My son wanted combat boots for Christmas. These fit the bill and the price was reasonable. He seems happy with them. He says they are not light. And he felt the need to add cushioned insoles, but otherwise they are fine.

Get a Size smaller than you need. I would say they are nice boots for the money! Excellent on the slippery ground. Good tread
