My dad always had these, I don't think he ever replaced them, but I always wanted his, they looked new after I watched him all sorts of work in them, and then wear them to church. He'd put the liner in when it got cold in Colorado, and these were all he'd ever wear. So I now have owned a pair a little over a month th, her I las vegas we've had snow and pretty cold temperatures for Vegas, these gloves were just in time, and I see why my dad had these. Not sure if these are the brand pops had, can't speak on durability just yet, but so far, I've done some workouts, work, yard work and some moving and with the liner, my hands aren't cold, they're protected, and other than breaking in the leather, they feel great. Highly recommended. Not for the arctic, not phone compatible. Get a bigger size if you plan to put in liners

Just like the ones I was issued. I bought extra liners because those go first. And since the leather is new and stiff, don't forget to where them around the house to break them in.

As many have said, they are 2 sizes too small and still tight at that. They felt stiff and dry like they got soaking wet and were dried with too much heat, which was a common issue when I wore them in the military. Not all is lost. Thinking back to what we used to do with heat damaged gloves, I treated them with a liberal application of Neatsfoot oil, followed by Snow Seal. That made them soft and pliable, allowing them to stretch to a good comfortable fit.Overall quality and materials seem OK (issue gloves were hit or miss) time will tell.
